What do you pray on the Sabbath? What is the Sabbath, and how is it observed?
You will find the answers to these questions and many more in this guide. It is designed to help you prepare for Friday evening and the Sabbath day (Saturday).

The prayers are clearly organized and easy to follow. With concise explanations, you will always understand the context, the flow, and the significance of the rituals. This makes the Sabbath not only a practical experience but a meaningful one.

All prayers and blessings are provided in three forms:

• in Hebrew,

• in transliteration (phonetic spelling),

• and in English translation.

This allows you to participate and read along, regardless of your prior knowledge.

The book follows the classic structure of traditional prayer books (Siddurim): it opens from the right side and is read from right to left.

This handbook is perfect for both beginners and those with more experience. We have carefully selected texts that are widely accepted and practiced across various Jewish traditions, ensuring accessibility for all, especially in international settings.
