How do I place an order?

Accepted Answer

Select your delivery country and language in the top right corner. In the shop, open the product you want, choose the language edition and, if available, the variant and quantity, then add it to your shopping cart. At checkout, enter your delivery and billing address, choose your shipping method, and complete the payment. You will receive an order confirmation via email immediately afterwards.

Do I need a customer account to place an order?

Can I change or cancel my order afterwards?

As long as the order has not yet entered production or shipping, we are happy to change it. Please contact us as soon as possible: in your customer account via Message about order in the order details view or via email to shalom@maamin.eu with your order number Your legal right of withdrawal remains unaffected.

Question 4

Why do I see different prices and products depending on the country?

Accepted Answer

Prices, taxes, shipping costs, and availability depend on the delivery country. Therefore, please set your delivery country in the top right corner – the shop will then display exactly the products and final prices that apply to that country. Within the EU, prices include VAT; for deliveries to non-EU countries (e.g., Switzerland), import duties are charged by customs and are not included in the price.

Which countries do you deliver to?

We currently deliver to Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Great Britain, Switzerland, Israel, the USA, Canada and Australia. You can select your delivery country in the top right corner. If your country is not listed, please contact us – digital products are available worldwide.

Question 6

How are the shipping costs calculated?

Accepted Answer

Shipping is handled by DHL. We calculate the costs automatically based on the delivery country and the total weight of your order including packaging – with no flat-rate surcharges. Up to 1,000 g, the low-cost Warenpost shipping is possible within Germany; for heavier items, we ship via DHL Paket. You can see the exact costs in your shopping cart and at checkout before ordering. How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

The delivery time consists of our processing time and the transit time from DHL. We show you both as a concrete estimated delivery date in the shopping cart and at checkout – weekends are not counted. Within Germany, your shipment usually arrives within a few business days; international deliveries take longer depending on the destination country. For digital products, the download is available immediately after payment has been received.

Can I have my order delivered to a Packstation or Postfiliale?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Within Germany, you can choose Packstation or Postfiliale as the delivery method at checkout. Please provide your DHL post number and the number of the station or branch. Please note: Shipments to Packstations must not exceed the dimensions and weights specified by DHL.

How can I track my shipment?

Accepted Answer

As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email with the tracking number. In your customer account under My orders, you can find the current DHL status for each shipment, including a tracking link. For orders with multiple items, there may be multiple shipments and thus multiple tracking numbers.

Which payment methods can I use?

Accepted Answer

Payment is processed via our payment service provider Mollie. Depending on the delivery country, PayPal, credit card, Klarna, Sofort, iDEAL, Bancontact, and other local methods are available. You can see the specific methods available during the payment step. Additionally, you can apply a coupon code or a gift card to the order value.

Is my payment secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All payment data is transmitted in encrypted form directly to Mollie, a European provider certified for payments. We do not store card data in our shop. The entire website is encrypted via SSL/TLS.

Question 12

When will I receive my invoice?

Accepted Answer

We generate your invoice after receipt of payment. You will receive it by email and can also download it in your customer account under the respective order. For business orders, you can enter your company name and VAT identification number at checkout.

Question 13

In which languages are your books and calendars available?

Accepted Answer

Our titles are published in languages including German, English, Hebrew, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Romanian. Each language edition is a separate version with its own ISBN. You can select the desired language on the product page; available editions vary by title.

Question 14

How do digital products and PDF downloads work?

Accepted Answer

Digital products are not shipped: After receipt of payment, the file is immediately ready for download in your customer account under your order – an account is required for this. A special withdrawal policy applies to digital content: The right of withdrawal expires when the download starts. Details can be found under Withdrawal for digital content.

Are there quantity discounts or terms for resellers?

Tiered pricing is available for many titles: The unit price automatically decreases from a certain quantity onwards. You can see the respective tiers directly on the product page. Communities, schools, bookstores, and other resellers can find suitable terms and an inquiry form on our B2B page.

How do I use a coupon code or gift card?

Accepted Answer

Enter coupon codes and gift cards in the corresponding field at checkout; the amount will be deducted immediately from the order total. You can purchase gift cards via the Gift cards page – including directly for another person with a personal message. They are valid for 3 years, and any remaining balance is saved for future purchases.

What are the loyalty discount tiers?

Accepted Answer

As a registered customer, you will automatically reach a discount tier based on your previous order value. The discount is automatically applied to future orders. You can see your current tier and progress towards the next one in your customer account.

Question 18

How can I withdraw from my order?

Accepted Answer

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. You can: use the Withdrawal button in the footer of the website, use the form in your order in the customer account, or write to us informally at shalom@maamin.eu. We will confirm your withdrawal by email and refund the amount after receiving the return. Full instructions can be found under Withdrawal.

Question 19

Who pays for the return shipping costs?

Accepted Answer

You as the customer bear the regular costs of the return. If the goods are damaged, defective, or if we delivered the wrong item, we will of course cover the return costs. Please return items in their original packaging and well-protected if possible.

Question 20

My package arrived damaged or incomplete – what now?

Accepted Answer

Please contact us as soon as possible, ideally with photos of the item and packaging – via our contact form, the message function in your order, or at shalom@maamin.eu. We will send you a replacement free of charge or refund the amount. In most cases, no return is necessary.

Question 21

How do I create a customer account or reset my password?

Accepted Answer

Use the login icon in the header of the website to go to the login area, where you can create an account. You will need to confirm your email address and then set your language and delivery country. Forgot your password? Use Forgot password on the login page: You will receive an email with a reset link. Please check your spam folder if necessary.

How can I have my data or account deleted?

Accepted Answer

Contact us via the contact form or at shalom@maamin.eu. We will delete your account and your personal data, provided there are no legal storage obligations – such as for invoices from completed orders. Further information can be found in our Privacy Policy.

Can I choose language and delivery country independently?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can set the website language and your delivery country separately in the top right corner. This allows you to browse the site in German, for example, while shipping to Israel. All prices are quoted in Euro; for other countries, we additionally show an approximate conversion for orientation purposes.

Where can I find the catalog, blog, and newsletter?

You can download our current catalog as a PDF in several languages. In our blog and under News, we publish background articles on holidays, the Jewish calendar, and new titles. Our newsletter provides information about new releases and promotions – you can unsubscribe with a single click at any time.
